How long do my Weta Dollars last?

Weta Dollars will be valid for a period of 24 months from the time you earn them, after which they will expire. We recommend you use your outstanding Weta Dollars each time you purchase an item on our site. This will help ensure your Weta Dollars do not expire.

We introduced this new 24 Month validity rule at the start of February 2009.

We are giving all customers with Weta Dollars from our old website until 31 December 2009 to spend those old Weta Dollars before they expire. All Weta Dollars earned on the new website will have the full 24 months, and will start expiring in February 2011.

We will be contacting all current Weta Dollars holders by email before the end of March 2009 to advise you when your Weta Dollars are due to expire.

We will also shortly set up a record in your My Weta account to track Weta Dollars you have earned.
