The Hobbit [2012]
Awaiting Green Light
The Hobbit and its companion movie will be shot on location in NZ utilizing the expertise of Weta Workshop and Weta Digital.
Peter Jackson is the Executive Producer. The Director is Guillermo del Toro. Peter and Guillermo are also writing the screenplay together with Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens.
The two films are planned to premiere in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

I hope to work on The Hobbit set when production starts. Is it too late to join?
I may be wearing holes in my LOTR appendices DVDs too! Seeing the behind the scenes footage makes working on a Weta set seem like a lot of fun. Which I'm very sure it is! Hide.

Glad I am not the only person wearing out the extended DVD's. I long for news and hopefully the weta cast can bring us some tit bits along the journey to 2011. Hide.
