You’ll discover how imaginary worlds are brought to life through physical effects and movie-making magic. From your favourite films to larger-than-life exhibitions: join the Weta Cave Workshop Tour to learn about our artistry and craftsmanship for The Lord of the Rings, the record-breaking Gallipoli: The scale of our war and more! On the Miniatures Stage Tour, wander through monumental miniature environments and learn how miniatures were constructed for the popular television show, Thunderbirds Are Go.
Return to the city to spend the afternoon steeped in Māori culture. Arrive at your first site of cultural significance: Te Wharewaka o Pōneke. This iconic canoe (waka) house on Wellington’s waterfront is home to Karaka Café, where you’ll experience the best of Aotearoa’s cuisine for lunch.

Guided transfers for The Full Experience depart 7 days a week from the bus park opposite the Amora Hotel – just up the road from the Wellington iSITE bus stop on Wakefield Street [See Map]. Departs at 9:00AM
Please note, our bus transfers are not suitable for wheelchairs.
