"It’s… as if it were a friend teaching you.”
MIXING MOVIE BLOOD
Our crew have been slipping and sliding on faux blood and loose limbs since the days of Peter Jackson’s Braindead (1992). Learn how we make the consistency of blood oh-so-oozy for film and TV.
Traditional chainmaille armour, made from thousands of rings of steel linked together, makes for a hard and HEAVY day’s work on a film set. Luckily, during The Lord of the Rings, we developed a light-weight alternative to adorn the armies of Middle-earth! Witness the evolution and create your own small piece of Weta Workshop chainmaille to take away.
SCULPTING SCARS & SCRAPES
It takes a small amount of silicone gel, some creative flair and plenty of sticky silliness to recreate a convincing wound! Join our crew to learn how it's done.
"Great tuition and my son and I really enjoyed making our gory scars!"
Children 6 – 12 Years: $40 (Recommended for ages 10+ all children must be accompanied by a paying adult)
