David Tremont, Senior Model Maker
THURSDAY 28th JUNE
Models, miniatures, and bigatures – you name it, he’s made it.
Dave’s model-making career spanned several decades before receiving the fateful call from co-founder Richard Taylor to join Weta Workshop on The Lord of the Rings. In 2001, he moved to New Zealand, lending his skills to the siege tower of Minas Tirith, and the incredible 1:10 scale Grond.
Since Rings, Dave has had the chance to revisit his childhood whilst working on Thunderbirds Are Go, and channels his passion for model making into beautiful collectibles. He’s been involved in nearly every collectible we’ve produced!
DURATION: 1.5 hours
THURSDAY 26th JULY: Flo Foxworthy, Costume Technician
THURSDAY 30th AUGUST: Jason and Kim Docherty, Special Effects Make-up and Prosthetics Artists
