Inside, our retail store showcases original collectibles created by our talented in-house artists. A rotating selection is on permanent display at both Wētā Cave locations in Wellington and Auckland.
Created by the same artists who worked on the films, these pieces include Brigitte Wuest's Sméagol & Déagol: A Shadow of the Past, a gorgeous 1:6 scale statue depicting two hobbits sharing a moment of joy before tragedy strikes, and Andrew Baker's strikingly detailed bust of Smaug the Terrible.
Warhammer 40,000 fans can find Gary Hunt's Celestine the Living Saint on display, a stunning showcase of the brilliance and power that faith in the Emperor can inspire. The Lord of the Rings fans can also discover iconic pieces such as Jason Zhang's Boromir Classic Series statue and Luke Hawker's Sauron miniature statue.
The Lord of the Rings
COLLECTIBLES
In the late 1990s, while working on The Lord of the Rings, our team envisioned merging two passions: Middle-earth and collectibles. Seizing the opportunity to bring our creations to life in statue form, our artists transformed on-screen magic into tangible reality. Over 20 years later, we continue to produce Limited Edition statues, environments, prop replicas, merch and more with unparalleled authenticity and artistry. Drawing from unique access to original props, costumes, and relics, each piece is crafted with the same precision and dedication as our film work.
Warhammer 40,000
COLLECTIBLES
We’ve long been captivated by expansive worlds and epic adventures, with many of our artisans having made their first creative steps painting miniature figures and dreaming of the imaginative battlefields of Warhammer 40,000. It’s a shared passion for creativity and world-building that drives us, so this collaboration feels like a natural extension of that vision. Together, we bring masterful craftsmanship to a vast, intricate universe, delivering premium collectibles for fans and collectors to celebrate and cherish.
Lore Olympus
COLLECTIBLES
When we heard about a fellow New Zealand artist making a splash on the international stage by crafting her own imaginary world, we couldn’t wait to reach out and join forces. Rachel Smythe’s webtoon Lore Olympus has captivated viewers from all over the globe, resonating deeply with its explorations of relationships, ideals, and social hierarchies.
That’s why we are supremely honoured to be part of the journey, helping to bring these memorable characters and moments off the page and onto your shelves.
