The music video for Jay Chou’s 16th studio album visualises a fantastical detective story
In Jay Chou’s music video for ‘Children of the Sun’, the lead single from the Mandopop star’s long-awaited new album of the same name, released in 2026, a detective chases a blood-thirsty vampire through more than 30 famous works of art, from Jacques-Louis David's The Death of Marat to Gustav Klimt's The Kiss.
We had the privilege of working with Director Leo Liao (廖人帅) to help bring to life this seven-minute thriller-meets-visual-feast from its earliest conceptual stages. Shaping both its visual language and narrative direction, we established a world of fantasy and suspense, of mythical creatures and masterpieces, set against the Chapelle Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc in Paris.
