They’re baaack
Twenty years ago, flocks of mutant killer sheep terrorised a family farm in director Jonathan King’s Black Sheep. In the follow-up to the 2006 comedy-horror, a dangerous pathogen leads a young scientist to a rural New Zealand town where terrifying creatures lie in wait in an area known as the Zone.
Having created a man-eating ovine, an animatronic lamb and other flesh-craving carnivores for the original film, we were thrilled to return to King’s world of creature effects and gore, and to our own horror roots, for this unforgettable sequel filmed in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. Black Sheeps is in theatres in Aotearoa New Zealand on November 12.
