Thunderbirds Are Go

Based on the 1960s hit TV series, Thunderbirds Are Go (2015) marked a return to Tracy Island and follows the adventures of the International Rescue organisation. ITV and Pūkeko Pictures teamed up to create a fresh new action-adventure animation series paying homage to the original show.
Wētā Workshop designed the show and created the live-action miniature model sets to build out the world of the unstoppable Tracy brothers. Our work included everything from environments, space rescue vehicles to tech consoles and the iconic Tracey Island base in the South Pacific.
