Our armour design and fabrication services range from custom-fabricated hero pieces to flexible, stunt-friendly suits and mass manufacture, with thousands of suits of armour made to date.
We offer a full suite of specialty costume design and fabrication services for high-end, world-class costume creation. Working primarily from digitally captured actor body scans, our fabrication teams can deliver custom costumes for actors located anywhere in the world.
We design and manufacture unforgettable creatures, from simple hand puppets to computer-controlled ghouls capable of lip syncing. We specialise in animatronic puppetry, highly realistic silicon mannequins and meticulously crafted creature suits.
Props that require levels of build complexity, high-end fabrication and interactivity is where we excel. Our artists and technicians resolve the technical requirements that allow a design to become fully functional for use in a film or television show.
From one-off swords to an army’s worth of weaponry, our weapons are tailor-made to your needs. We’ve made over 100,000 bladed weapons, some of which are held in the King’s collection at the Royal Armoury in Leeds, England.
Our specialised robotics and animatronics department brings to life everything from practical, puppetable effects to fully automated, preprogrammed and self-contained installations for immersive experiences. They combine world-class artistry with powerful technologies to build animatronic, remote-controlled and puppeteered characters, and wearable suits with integrated technology and lighting.
DISCOVER OUR ROBOTICS AND AUTIMATRONICS
We are specialists in facial makeup effects and full-body prosthetics, delivered and applied anywhere in the world. We’ve manufactured tens of thousands of prosthetics, and have won two Academy Awards, one BAFTA and two Hollywood Makeup Awards for our makeup effects work.
Our life replicas and dummies are found on-screen and in museums. They include special effects and poseable dummies, historical figures and fantasy characters, VFX lighting reference creature busts and hyper-realistic animal and human replicas at any scale.
We design and construct working vehicles and modes of transport that are petrol-driven or electric-powered, remote-controlled or pre-programmed. Our services include cars, motorbikes, boats, trains, trucks, aircraft, tanks and utility vehicles created for film, TV or display use.
When it comes to miniatures — and what we like to call ‘bigatures’ — detail is everything. Two of our five Academy Awards and one VES Award were won for our miniatures work.
From large-scale static and interactive scenery to highly detailed, high-tech constructions featuring interactive lighting, screens and mechanisms, we design and meticulously craft set pieces that make an impact.
We’ve created many wonderful works of public art, from massive Middle-earth sculptures for international airports, to monumental bronze statues.
